Come join us for our Monthly Support Meetings.
This month we will be speaking on how to deal with trauma the biblical way led by A Door of Hope. This class will teach you the best way to help children in your life that have experienced trauma in their life. This meeting is geared toward ANYONE that deals with children at any level. This would help you with your own children, co-op, church, schools, home school groups, etc.... Please do not let the word ministry veer you away; our life as a Christian is a ministry in itself. We are His hands and feet.
The goals of the training are to:
- Help people understand trauma and the impact it has on people’s lives.
- Help people feel more knowledgeable and equipped to deal with the complex realities that they may encounter when ministering to those who have experienced trauma.
- Give practical skills to ministry staff and volunteers.
- Bring Glory to God as everything is done from a Biblical perspective.
Please know that you DO NOT have to be a homeschooler to attend this meeting. This class is open to the public regardless of your "schooling status."
*Support meetings are parents only however, If you do need to bring your child you may as long as they can sit quietly in the back while we have our meeting. As always, nursing babies are welcome to allow mothers to attend.
