Who We Are - Our Roots
Home Circle of Hernando has been serving families for over 35 years. Home Circle was created by a group of mothers longing for relationship amongst like-minded women.
These same founding moms wanted to foster a community of women that would take on each others burdens while encouraging one another in this endeavor called home school. Like many of us, they knew God had called each one of them to pursue the path of home education.
This is our same desire today. We desire nothing more than to walk along beside you in this journey.
What We Do
We are a faith based homeschooling support group based out of Hernando County, Florida. We serve Spring Hill, Brooksville, Weeki Wachee, Ridge Manor, Spring Lake, Masaryktown and other surrounding areas. We also have grown to serve families in Pasco and Citrus counties as well.
We hold monthly meetings to encourage and educate our members. They are held on the third Monday of each month at Vineyard Christian Church located in Brooksville, Florida.
Prospective members may come to a meeting at any time to get more information about whether or not they'd like to join.
Our membership fees are $60 per year per family. A single family rate is available per request. Membership is open from mid-August to March 31st.

We offer the building blocks to make your journey a success. We help our members build relationships, connect with one another & our community, provide support when needed, and encourage growth.

Our Mission
The purpose of Home Circle is to help and encourage new and experienced homeschooling parents to strive for spiritual and academic excellence for their children. Although we are not experts, we will assist and direct families to information regarding homeschooling. We inform our members of legislative action required to protect our rights as parents and educators. We also cooperatively organize educational, social, and physical activities for the families.
Statement of Faith
Home Circle of Hernando is a Christian homeschool support group dedicated to loving everyone as Christ
does, honoring how God uniquely created each individual, and empowering parents as they are divinely
equipped to educate their children.
One True God: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
Salvation Through Jesus: We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, offering
forgiveness and eternal life as a free gift through faith alone. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians
2:8-9)
Divinely Designed Identity: We believe God made you exactly who you should be, creating every
parent and child intentionally with unique gifts and inherent worth. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-
14; Ephesians 2:10)
The Calling of Parents: We believe God equips parents to teach their children, giving them the
primary responsibility and divine support to guide their education and discipleship. (Deuteronomy
6:6-7; Proverbs 22:6; Hebrews 13:20-21)
Christlike Love for All: We believe in showing the love of Christ to everyone, committing to walk in
unity, kindness, and respect as a welcoming support community. (John 13:34-35; Mark 12:31;
Ephesians 4:2-3)
